MASON CITY – At Tuesday’s meeting, the Cerro Gordo County Supervisors will consider a recommendation from the North Iowa Fair Board to market fairground land.
According to the agenda for the meeting, an agreement with Exit Realty will be considered.
What portion of the fairgrounds would be marketed (presumably sold) was not known.

When was this all decided? First time we’ve seen reported-Only to see it here first
sumthin smellz real, real bad here…
Another insider, sweetheart deal! Did anybody else even get to bid on this? Brian Carlson of Exit is on the fair board!
Conflict of interest? If there is even an appearance of impropriety, the right thing to do is step aside.
Such a move in that direction at this time is pure politics. Finally after this once successful endevor has been run into the dirt will alledged corruption the supervisors want to take actiion….give me a break. To little…too late…elect a new board.
ive heard from people in MC that the fairboard didnt care what happened to the grounds because the land was worth more if it were sold. Be aware of who wants to buy any of the property. any kick backs going to the board? friends or family wanting to develope that property? any conflict of interest? Dig a hole now, just in case you may want to use it
