At Tuesday’s city council meeting, an Alliant Energy representative presented the city of Mason City with a rebate check.
Jim Collins, who works for Alliant, presented the council and mayor with a check for $74,250.94. Mason City’s wastewater treatment plant was upgraded and will save over 800,000 KW hours per year.
Collins thanked City Administrator Brent Trout for working with him on the upgrades.|
