Beje Clark escapee caught by MCPD

MASON CITY – Joshua Henry Joyce escaped from Beje Clark Residential Center on October 28, 2012 and was apprehended by Mason City police on November 7, 2012 and is now in the Cerro Gordo County Jail.  He is serving a term of probation for Unauthorized Use of Credit Card, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Joyce is no stranger from running form Beje Clark.

On Aug 9th, 2011 Judge James Drew sentenced Joshua Joyce in Hancock County District Court to 180 days or until maximum benefits are achieved at Beje Clark a residential facility in Mason City following his 3rd probation violation conviction for Criminal Mischief-3rd degree, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Joyce promptly escaped custody of Beje Clark on September 7th, 2011 and was captured on September 14th, 2011 in Mason City. As a result he was charged with the 4th probation violation that ended in his two year prison sentence being imposed.

Joyce is now being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail.

If somebody has been convicted of escaping there, why do they send them back. I seen on NIM Felix Arp escaped there again this week also.

One might wonder if having Beje Clark isn’t a threat to the community. They let dangerous people just walk out of the place. Why does Mason City let them get away with this?

Put these guys in prison where they belong. Why put them in a position where they can walk away.

Probably wanted to get another neck tatoo!
