Born Clara Faye Kafer, on July 18, 1932, she adopted the nickname, “Bobbie,” given to her by her older sister at an early age. Those who knew Bobbie, knew her to be energetic, competitive, opinionated and involved in many pursuits. She loved to sew, cook, entertain, play cards and most of all, golf at the Manly Country Club. Bobbie loved family and along with her husband, Don, hosted many memorable events. Trips and gatherings with Papa Don and Grandma Bobbie generated unforgettable and cherished memories for her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Erna Kafer, her brothers, Jimmy and John Kafer, and by her husband, Donald C. Benjegerdes. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Ketner, and her brother Fred Kafer as well as her two daughters, Becky (Tony) Wendler, and Betsy (Gary) Triebwasser.
