A visitation will be held from 1:00PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City, Iowa 50401.

Raymond was born July 1, 1952 in southern Iowa where he was later adopted by Royce and Patricia (McGill). He graduated from Louisa-Muscatine High School and enlisted in the United States Army. Raymond enjoyed many hours watching western movies. He could quote just about any of them right off the bat. He also had a passion for music and bowling. Raymond loved all kinds of music, but he always kept the oldies classic channel on the radio. He’ll be remembered for his sense of humor and his “charismatic” behavior with the ladies. Raymond also loved everything Hawkeyes and Chicago Bears and Cubs.

Raymond is survived by his fiancé, Jenny Stankey; children, Eric Bonnichsen and Rachel Bonnichsen; step-children, Jacob Stankey and Madelyn Stankey as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Terri; and brother, David.
