CEDAR FALLS – No. 3/3 Iowa (3-0, 0-0) defeated Northern Iowa (1-1, 0-0), 94-53. UNI women’s basketball welcomed in the reigning Big Ten champion and NCAA Tournament runner-up Hawkeyes in the first women’s basketball sellout of the McLeod Center in program history. The Hawkeyes shot 51.7% from the floor, their second-best mark of the season.

DES MOINES – Iowa State (1-1, 0-0 Big 12) fell to Drake (3-0, 0-0 MVC) Sunday in Des Moines at the Knapp Center by a score of 85-73 after the Cyclones couldn’t pull off the second-half comeback.
College Wrestling: No. 10 Cyclones destroy Davidson Wildcats in home opener, 50-0
AMES – No. 10 Iowa State (2-0, 0-0 Big 12) beat Davidson (0-1, 0-0 SoCon) 50-0 Sunday afternoon in the home opener for the Cyclones. It was the largest margin of victory against an NCAA Division I school for the Cyclones since beating Utah Valley 53-0 in 2019.
