LAS VEGAS – Quoting the Bible in Las Vegas today, former Vice President Mike Pence threw in the towel in his meager bid to become President.
“There is a time for every purpose under Heaven,” said the former Vice President, Mike Pence, today in Las Vegas.  “After traveling the country the past six months, it has become clear…this is not my time.
“As we leave this campaign, we do so with grateful hearts. I will always be grateful for the opportunities my family and I have been given to serve this country.
Karen and I want to thank all our supporters across the country, our campaign family, and volunteers. You will always be in our hearts. God bless you all.”
Pence, also a former Governor of Indiana, struggled mightily to gain any traction in the weak field that is vying to unmount Donald Trump from his perch atop the Republican party.  He will now fade into history as the man whom the very people he wanted votes from actually wanted to hang from a gallows on January 6, 2021.
