MASON CITY – KCMR radio in Mason City is now collecting items for both dogs and cats to assemble pet adoption kits to encourage individuals and families to adopt a new friend into their homes.
The Humane Society of North Iowa is trying to encourage more pet adoptions. One of the ways they are doing this is by providing Pet Adoption Kits to new forever pet adoptees. KCMR radio station is collecting dog toys and dog treats. (Please no rawhide dog treats.) They are seeking donations of brushes, cat toys and cat treats for the cat pet adoption kits.
All donations can be dropped off at KCMR radio at 316 North Federal in Mason City between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM Monday through Friday during the month of September.
