Jo M. (Baier) Person 69 of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Private family services are being planned. She put up the strongest fight for 6 years with the last year being the hardest battle, after the usage loss of her legs and some brain function. We know no other more determined woman than her, who gained the strongest angel wings ever. Jo M Baier was born to Marvin and Elaine Huse Baier in Waterloo, Ia on August 27, 1952. She received her education in the Iowa Falls Community Schools. Jo enjoyed horseback riding, thrift storing, good willing, sitting in the sun, fishing, and all things her grandchildren were involved in. Jo was employed by Snook Cleaners, Boyt Luggage, Westmar University, and Victory Health until her cancer journey forced her into retirement in 2015. Jo’s biggest accomplishments were her children – Mike, Malena, and Chad, whom blessed her with many more family to love and spoil. Jo was a good mom, a better grandma (grams), and the best great grams who would give her last penny, piece of gum, or drink of pop to any one of her grands or great grands. Jo is survived by her children: Mike Winter of Rock Rapids, Malena (Joedy) Dennis of Iowa Falls, and Chad (Heather) Miller of Iowa Falls, her grandchildren: Danny (Nikki), Drew, Dylan, and Derek Winter, Damon (Ashton), Scott (Kayla), and Joebie Dennis, and Trent, Mikaela, Chad, and Krystin Miller, her great grands Owen Winter, Brielle, Braxton, and Bexlee Dennis, and Delilah Miller, and her great grand pups Xoe and Xena, in addition to her sisters: Marlene DeGroot and Cora (Ron) DeLong and brother Dennis Baier along with many nephews and nieces.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Mark, sister in law Nancy, daughter in law Katyl, and nephew Matt.
