RURAL CLEAR LAKE, IOWA – An Albert Lea woman was taken to jail after she was caught drunk driving on Interstate 35 near Clear Lake.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy was called to assist an Iowa State Patrol trooper at about 3 AM Thursday, May 12 due to a traffic stop near the 187 mile marker on Interstate 35 outside Clear Lake. During an investigation, it was determined that 21-year old Danielle Sharon Olson of Albert Lea was drunk driving.
Olson was arrested on a charge of first-offense operating while intoxicated. She was taken to the county jail, booked and held briefly before being released.
