ONE interview was conducted by mason city council of the new admin man and BOOM he is hired. HE will make 6 figures drive a new car and get bonuses. McDonald’s is more careful than that when they hire the night assistant manager.
After hearing about council man John Lee saying that youth is great thing and why they hired the really young guy from Keokuk I got to thinking. Did the council and mayor consider any candidates, say, in their 50’s? How about women, were any female candidates considered? How about minorities? Any one with a disability get an interview?

MASON CITY | The Chamber of Commerce recently announced its “Friends of the Festival” fundraising campaign for the North Iowa Band Festival.
The funds collected will be used to pay for costs of the festival, including the parade, entertainment, marching band competitions, concessions and a carnival.

The truth be told. Early on when Anonymous aka Mike, aka dumbass
was little, we knew that he was one card short of a deck, and that all his puppies weren’t barking. We tried to help him along as best we could and teach him right, but he just couldn’t grasp what we were trying to do. So most of the time his parent’s kept him in the closet. Most of the people that came to the house knew of his ways, but would always ask if dumbass was getting any better, but unfortunately no. Because he was so stupid, we always called him dumbass instead of mike. That’s the story, and I’m sticking to it.

Who is the Mayor and City Council interviewing tonight in closed session? I’m hopeful it is the guy over in Clear Lake and not another character like the last 5. We need someone with a lot of experience, not a person who has limited experience in the field.
