MASON CITY – Police were called to the Mason City Wal-Mart Friday for a theft report.
According to a report, employees at the store called police after detaining an adult male shoplifter. After a brief investigation, Caleb Robert Roethler, age 20 of Elma, Iowa was arrested and charged with fifth degree theft.
Roethler was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, booked and released pending a court date.
