Charles City, IOWA — Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation agents have taken Casey Frederiksen into state custody.
Frederiksen, 33, is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree sexual abuse in the 2005 death of five-year-old Evelyn Miller.
Today DCI agents took custody of Frederiksen from the United States Penitentiary (USP) in Marion, Illinois.
Frederiksen will make an initial court appearance before Magistrate Ann Troge on Tuesday, October 16th at 10:00 AM at the Floyd County courthouse.
It should be noted a criminal charge is merely an accusation and all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Ya he’s guilty and they should save us tax payers from having to take care of this scum bag for the rest of his life by taking him out back and putting a bullet in his skull.
I feel so said for that poor little girl
Children should not have to suffer in such ways.
If guilty he should be executed, but that won’t happen in todays crybaby poor innocent criminal world.
I think they are just using him as an out so they can close the case to the public. I have a feeling he didn’t do it.
You mean right before the long time sheriff that couldn’t solve the case for years goes up for re-election?
How do you know he is guilty richard, did you help? he is innocent untill proven guilty…Jim
Oh he is guilty!!!!
