Allen Ghoske, 61, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Funeral services are pending with the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Memorial services will be on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 1:30 pm at the First Congregational Church in lowa Falls, Iowa. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of Surls Funeral Home in lowa Falls.
Allen, was the son of Robert Emil and Minnie Arlene (Borchers) Ghoske, was born on July 4, 1964 in lowa Falls. He graduated from lowa Falls High School, class of 1982. He went to college at lowa State, class of 1988, then to the University of Minnesota. After he moved back to lowa Falls he helped care for his dad and Uncle Albert. He worked at the Robert W Barlow Memorial Library for a while. Allen took many trips in the USA, Canada, and other countries. Due to his health he never made his trip to Africa.
He is survived by his sister, Ann Ghoske of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Arlene.
