Waldorf University to present Dr. Samantha Edmonds

FOREST CITY – The Waldorf University Creative Writing department will host Dr. Samantha Edmonds for their Distinguished Visting Writer Series on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. in the Johnson Ballroom. This event is free and open to the public.

FOREST CITY – The Waldorf University Creative Writing department will host Dr. Samantha Edmonds for their Distinguished Visting Writer Series on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. in the Johnson Ballroom.

Following the Creative Writing Festival happening earlier in the day, Dr. Samantha Edmonds will join the department to read from her story collection, “A Preponderance of Starry Beings” as well as the chapbooks “Pretty to Think So” and “The Space Poet.”

Dr. Samantha Edmonds is an Assistant Professor in the creative writing program at Berry College and lives in Rome, Georgia. Her work appears in The New York Times, Fourth Genre, Ninth Letter, Michigan Quarterly Review, Creative Nonfiction and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, among others.

This event is free and open to the public.
