Two loans are, apparently, the only connection between the Trump campaign and the broad array of criminal activity, some of it more than a decade old, alleged in the Manafort indictments. And Trump himself played no role in it. Was a special counsel needed for that?

“An eastern Iowa factory ( Black Cat Wear Parts factory) has laid off workers, reduced production and delayed expansion plans in response to tariffs imposed by Donald Trump’s administration on steel imported from Canada.
The DeWitt factory has scaled back about 80 percent of its production capacity and has laid off 60% of its production workforce.
The tariffs have also halted the company’s expansion plan.”

Has anyone else noticed that Todd Blodgett has moved on to bigger and better things. He’s tenure here was short lived and he now submits a regular opinion piece to the DM Register. Perhaps he tired of the audience here that has difficulty engaging in reasonable, adult conversation while refraining from name calling and childish insults.
