CHARLES CITY – Police arrested a man for drunk driving in Charles City.
Charles City police conducted a traffic stop just before 2 AM on May 3 near the intersection of Kelly and North Jackson Streets. After an investigation, officers arrested 21-year-old Zachary Starkey of Charles City for first offense operating while intoxicated, speeding, and no insurance. Starkey was taken to jail, processed and released pending a May 20 court hearing.
