MASON CITY – On Monday November 4, Mason City residents will have one final opportunity to meet Jodi Draper, Second Ward Candidate for City Council. Jodi will be available outside the Central Park bus terminal in downtown Mason City, across from City Hall, from 3:30 to 5:00.

If citizens have not had the opportunity to attend the recent candidate forums, Jodi will take questions and concerns to further prepare for her plan of inclusive representation. Jodi also welcomes all city employees who endorsed her candidacy, to stop by to thank them for their vote of confidence.

  1. I voted for you, Jodi. I live in the Pebble Creek area and I see Hickey campaign signs on several lawns. It amazes me that my neighbors can’t see through Hickey’s mindset of following Bookmeyer’s every whim. (Or should I say “order” instead of whim?)

You’ll be a great addition to our council. I commend you for taking on this important work to make our city a better place to live. Thank you!

  2. My impression of Jodi is she is honest to a fault. She is very intelligent but is also a very caring person. She is aware of the dangers when she is elected to the council and will be watching for the danger signs. She is a breath of fresh air and I really and sincerely hope that she gets Leonard, Max and Matt on the council with her.

  3. Soon this will all come to a positive conclusion; your hard work will pay off and you will take your seat at the table. When that happens the first thing the rest of the council will try is to convert you. Do not forget who put you there. Be loyal to those who have you thst seat.

    1. I will be voting for Ms. Draper. I believe see will represent not only the second ward but all of Mason City. I won’t ask her to be loyal to me, but to be loyal to her heart and all of Mason City. Stand up for what you believe and don’t be afraid to agree if you think it is the right thing to do. Good luck tomorrow
