Poor PL. The City of LA voted to close all its medical marijuana shops. And those poor sick patients hurled profanity at the city council. Too bad all the patients can’t be more articulate.

How can gas station raise price on gas purchase prior to new gas shipments? been watching the station down the street from me they haven’t got a shipment of gas in 2 weeks but have raised the price 3 times i run a business and can’t raise my price on inventory purchased prior to new shipment coming in .So why can gas station raise price on gas already purchased and in the tank before new gas is purchased

Got a ganders this morning at NIACC’s President Deb Derr and her wonderful son accused of dealing dope coming out of of the court house, all decked out in suits, walking with two hot shot lawyers. Did they drop more charges, swept under the rug??
To the owner of the big brown boxer that let your dog run loose at West Park this morning. My boxer and I are the ones that your dog gave a warning bark at this morning but you wouldn’t know that because you were no where in sight. You had no control over your dog because I could hear you screaming at it with absolutely no response from your dog. Please keep a better eye on your dog or better yet, be a responsible pet owner and follow the rules and keep your dog on a leash. I love boxers and I own a boxer but dogs can be unpredictably when surprised, especially by another dog. I don’t know your dog and your dog doesn’t know me and I did feel threatened so please keep your dog on a leash for the safely of everyone wanting to enjoy a walk in West Park.
I don’t want live in this town anymore. I can’t stand the city council, the mayor or the crime. I don’t understand all the crime in mason and the city council is more worried about trash than crime. Fix something that isn’t broke and can’t fix what is broke. Makes a lot of sense.

no offense but can u blame any business or residents for closing shop, packing up, and getting OUT of this hell hole before it gets any worse???? I cant!!! who in the sane mind would want to stay here and raise a family with the amount of violence that seems to escalate worse and worse with each new incident.. I been here for over 20 yrs, not sure if I’m even willing to sacrifice my new families…

once again MCPD never ceases to amaze me. for as ‘vigilant’ as their patrolling was tonight, i’d like to know how a SWORN officer of the law WILLINGLY AND KNOWINGLY lets someone get behind the wheel of a vehicle and drive off.. Oh wait- I know, because it was a fellow MCPD officer and a friend of his!!! officer (clemus<~~sp) even did a walk thru at a downtown bar- saw them in the act and then proceeds to walk out. front with the two men..the officer who'd been been drinking (frank houdak) was out side the bar laughing joking around with and jumping around naturally having a wonderful time… no harm, no foul right?? WRONG!!! why should a cop get off Scott free for what any other normal regular citizen trying to do while out with friends for the same offense- would have been arrested and charged with either public intox or disorderly conduct for type of behavior in front of a cop!! no no no, not houdak and his friend- nope… they got to drive off in the night when clearly petty and even possibly few serious crimes had occurred.. regardless of who commits a crime the person offending needs to be held accountable… officer of law or not, RIGHT??? where's Gomer Pyle screaming "CITIZENS ARREST, CITIZENS ARREST" when we need him …
An Open Letter to the Mayor.
There are many needs a lot of other people in Mason City have, let me add one more.
Ten minutes ago, a black diesel pick up truck coming north on Fed. made a turn west to Fifth, within a block it was well over 40 mph and climbing. At the corner of Washington, were two kids trying to cross that fifth. Heaven forbid they had been in the street when that pick up came through.
Mr. Mayor, living down the street from there on washington, we are getting very concerned with the rate of speed of vehicles on both federal and fifth and sixth. Yeah we know we are just rental people, but we deserve the same respect as any other person in town, and thats including safety of our kids.
We do plan on moving when we can, because the noise from motorcycles and wreckless driving has us worried. can we not spare a few hours a day of police to control this? When they are over at Kum & Go, both roads become quiet and safe. but once they leave, it gets crazy again.
as we said, we are not middle income people, but we sure deserve some safety out near downtown.
This government has no idea how outraged most of its citizens are about foreigners coming to this country and not being able to support themselves or refusing to do it! I don’t care whether they are legal or not. Don’t come if you can’t or won’t support yourselves.
I have a friend who is a cop in FL. He has arrested migrant workers for shoplifting. They have thousands of dollars in uncashed paychecks in their pockets, yet they steal what they need. Farmers have to nag them to cash their paychecks. However, they save them up and then buy fancy SUV’s or trucks when they have enough. By choice, they live 20 people to a trailer house with cardboard or plastic for windows and there will be 10 nice vehicles parked around it. They get free everything from our government. It’s disgusting.
