Charles City man arrested for drunk driving after his car is stuck on railroad tracks

CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man was arrested recently for drunk driving after his car became stuck on rail road tracks.

On the evening of October 30, Charles City police went to the first block of Riverside Avenue for a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks. After an investigation, officers arrested 66-year-old Michael Metz of Charles City for first-offense operating while intoxicated and driving off the roadway.

Metz is due in court later in December.
