CLEAR LAKE – A Mason City teen has been charged with a vehicle theft in Clear Lake.
According to a report, 18 year-old Rueben Lee Hickman was arrested early by Clear Lake police and Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s deputies early Thursday morning at about 4:51 AM near 2023 Highway 18 East in Clear Lake. Police recovered a stolen vehicle and took Hickman into custody.
Hickman was charged with felony second degree theft and aggravated misdemeanor third degree burglary.
Hickman is now being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $7,000 cash/surety bond. He faces a court date on November 8th.
Hickman last month pled guilty to trespassing and public intoxication. He still owes $429.00 in court fines and fees.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
