Verlynn Joan Hutchison passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Verlynn was born to Frank and Grace Lee on March 7, 1931, in Fertile, Iowa. She graduated from Fertile High in 1949.
While officers spanned out around the city, Crimes Against Persons detectives interviewed the released victim, and gathered information on the kidnapping suspect, Joshua Paul Thompson.
