Every year the Mason City Parks Department NEGLECTS MOWING the grass on the parking at Kiwanis Park until it is a foot high. The rest of us mow our lawns and keep our neighborhood neat and clean but the Parks Department ALWAYS NEGLECTS the mowing until the grass is real long. Then they wack it down and leave a mess. Just because it is on a hill does not give you the right to neglect mowing it and leaving us with a unsightly mess in our neighborhood!
Start mowing the grass on the parking on a regular basis like the rest of do. We pay taxes to keep things up and you are not doing your job!!!!

She backed massive taxpayer giveaways for her special interest donors that caused a budget crisis and forced steep cuts to programs that Iowans of all stripes depend on.
