CLEAR LAKE – A Nora Springs woman is back in jail, this time for possession of meth, after a number of other arrests this year.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy pulled over a vehicle on the evening of August 11 in Clear Lake. The driver, Malorie Elaine Wolcott, age 27 of Nora Springs, had a suspended driver’s license, no registration, and no insurance. The deputy also discovered methamphetamine in her possession.
As Wolcott’s vehicle was towed from the scene near 40th Street and 4th Avenue South, she was taken to jail by the deputy. She posted $1,000 bond the next day an awaits an August 26 court date.
Wolcott also pled guilty this month to third degree theft, after an arrest by Mason City police on May 28. She also pled guilty to fifth degree theft and illegal possession of a prescription drug on July 31.
