MASON CITY – A Clear Lake woman was arrested in Mason City this week, something that is not uncommon for her to experience.

Amber Ward, age 30, was arrested after Mason City police responded to a disturbance at 518 North Penn. Ward had refused to leave the property when asked, so residents had called police to convince her to do so. Police arrived and found Ward to be uncooperative. She was placed under arrest and taken to jail, charged with interference with official acts.

Ward has been arrested numerous times by Mason City police. Among the charges she has faced are public intoxication, disorderly conduct, trespassing, drunk driving, harassment, domestic assault causing injury, assault, extortion, and burglary.
