MASON CITY – Three North Iowans were arrested Sunday after a disturbance at a North End residence.
Around 6:00 pm Sunday, the Mason City Police Department respond to a report of a fight going on at the 500 block of N. Pennsylvania Avenue involving two males and a female.
It was reported that one of the men was running up and down the street in red shorts and no shirt.
At the scene, one of the men involved, Brandon Ward, was sitting on his porch smoking a cigarette. Police went to neighboring houses, knocking on doors and asking questions about what happened. Police were on the scene for about 73 minutes.
One witness, who wanted to remain anonymous, said, “I just saw the very end of the fight. One neighbor was fighting with the kid that lives over there. They both got arrested.”
In total, three individuals were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct:
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
Ward is at it again… figures.

Although I agree that we are all the same, I’m wondering what month long worth of trouble on the South End. Not being a smart ass, just wondered what I missed. Enlighten me please. Sincerly….
BTW, you must have missed the one with the 1000 dollars worth of damage to a patrol car after a report of a fight at Burke’s recently. Dude jumped on the hood and roof of the car. That one was funny even though it really isn’t…lol.
@My Voice-all kidding aside, the problems are everywhere in this town. It is true that there were a lot on incidents in the South End lately but if you look at it it is mostly the central core of town. The addresses may be South or North but they are really down town area. A lot of those fine old big homes in that area have been turned into low income apartment houses with all of the problems that come with them. They used to be single family homes that the owners took pride in but no more. This is on both sides of Federal from 6th st. South to 10th st. North. Times have changed.
I think that Dana White is looking for some tough guys. Brandon Ward and all of his friends should go for it. LOL……
Bing! There we go! After month’s of trouble on the south end, without the south end being singled out, we finally have a new story and it’s tagged with “North End” in the title! We’re all the same, people.
