Linda Ann Bonnett was born June 14, 1951, in Algona; daughter of Robert and Loretta (Johnson) Bonnett. She grew up in Algona and graduated from Algona High School.

Following high school, she attended school in Marshalltown to become a dental hygienist. Linda dedicated a decade of her life to serving as a dental hygienist in Spencer. Unfortunately, her career was cut short due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. She then moved to live with her mother in Algona and helped run her in home daycare for many years.

Linda found joy in traveling, particularly trips to the Black Hills to visit her sister, Brenda, and to San Antonio to visit her bother, Larry. She had a passion for cooking and baking. Linda’s greatest happiness was found in the company of her family and pets.

Linda died Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society – Algona. She was 72.

She is survived by her mother, Loretta Bonnett of Algona; sister, Brenda Bonnett of Deadwood, SD; nieces and nephews, Benjamine Bonnett-Brooks of Springhill, TN, Beau Bonnett of Deadwood, SD, David Steuve of San Antonio, TX; great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily and Cavan Bonnett-Brooks, and Landen and Lacie Bonnett.

Preceding her in death are her father, Robert Bonnett; and brother, Larry Steuve.
