CHICAGO – Iowa State is set for its first true road game of the season Friday, as the Cyclones travel to Chicago to face DePaul. The game will be televised on FS1.
The game is part of the BIG EAST/Big 12 Battle, a challenge the Cyclones have a 3-0 record in.
In the Cyclones’ last game, No. 12 Texas A&M used a 30-8 run, holding Iowa State to just two field goals in the stretch, to defeat the Cyclones 73-69 in the third-place game of the ESPN Events Invitational Sunday night in Kissimmee, Fla. Milan Momcilovic led four Cyclones in double figures with 15 points, while Keshon Gilbert added 14 points. Tamin Lipsey had his second career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 14 rebounds, while also adding four assists and three steals. Lipsey was named to the ESPN Events Invitational All-Tournament Team.
