MASON CITY - The NIACC wrestling team dropped a 30-18 decision to Iowa Central Wednesday night in an ICCAC dual meet.

MASON CITY – The NIACC wrestling team dropped a 30-18 decision to Iowa Central Wednesday night in an ICCAC dual meet.

NIACC picked up wins from Isaac Church (141), Lucas Willis (157) and Ryan Van Donselaar (165).

Church (9-3 with three falls) pinned Iowa Central’s Caleb Nadig in 21 seconds.

Willis (3-2 with two falls) stuck the Tritons’ Nathan Napolitano in :27.

Van Donselaar (6-3 with two falls) picked up a 3:45 pin over Iowa Central’s Logan Jones.

IOWA CENTRAL 30, NIACC 18

125 – Trentin Walker (IC) pinned Rhett Bonnette, 4:58; 133 – Jaydale Whitlock (IC) won by forfeit; 141 – Isaac Church (N) pinned Caleb Nadig, :21; 149 – Justice Hefley (IC) dec. Ryker Pentz, 5-3; 157 – Lucas Willis (N) pinned Nathan Napolitano, :27.

165 – Ryan Van Donselaar (N) pinned Logan Jones, 3:45; 174 – Malikhy Ray (IC) won by forfeit; 184 – Quentin Saunders (IC) dec. Ein Carlos, 3-1; 197 – John Lovett (IC) dec. Drew Fox, 7-1; 285 – Hector Garcia (IC) dec. Jacob Leohr, 7-1.
