Vandals change speed limit sign in Iowa town from 25 mph to 205 mph; cops perplexed yet jovial

ALTOONA, IOWA – A vandal had some illegal fun with a speed limit sign in this Des Moines suburb, and cops, although perplexed, had some fun right back.

According to police in Altoona, Iowa, the incident took place around August 31. The crafty gremlin took some spray paint and placed a perfect “0” between the “2” and the “5” on the 25 mph speed limit sign, placed on a neighborhood street. Police do not seem to have caught the culprit, but they did tell the public:

This is just Ludacris, and from what the cameras saw it was NOT the rapper this time!
🎨 🚫
Look at that PERFECT zero folks. Clearly there is a serial killer on the loose! This is not Fast ‘n Furious, don’t play Vin Diesel on our streets.
🏁
One last thing, we would have much rather seen Paul walker on our camera… but RIP.
🥷
Someone vandalized the speed trailer. We don’t want to undermine your vandalism, but your graffiti is not art…. just sayin.
🏎
Someone went to great lengths to cover up their speeding… even though our radar trailer collects traffic data… it does not issue tickets. Smh.
