Lois Lloyd, age 71 of Whittemore, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. A Celebration of Life Visitation in honor of Lois’ Life will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the Apostolic Christian Fellowship Center in West Bend. Inurnment will take place at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in West Bend.
Lois Jean Lloyd, the daughter of Philip and Katherine (Zaugg) Fisher, was born on January 26, 1951 in Algona, Iowa. She graduated from West Bend High School in 1969 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Mankato State. Lois was united in marriage to Larry Lloyd on June 10, 1972 on her family farm in West Bend. She was a CMN for Handicapped Village and Horizons Unlimited.
Lois was a loving, outgoing person. She had many friends and always showed so much love towards them and her family. Lois was blessed with the gift of making people feel at home.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her husband of 50 years: Larry; sister: Eileen (Olin) Hoover; three nephews; two nieces and several great nephews and nieces. Lois was preceded in death by her parents: Philip and Katherine; brothers: Harold, Robert and Philip Jr. and an infant sister: Miriam.
