CEDAR FALLS – A Waterloo man was arrested after pointing a gun at someone during an altercation.
On May 15th, 2022 at approximately 1:21am, Cedar Falls Police were called to 401 Main Street for an abandoned 911 call. When officers arrived they took a report that a male subject had just been in an altercation and had pointed a gun at someone. Officers located the suspect in the back parking lot of the business a short time after the incident.
Cedar Falls Officers conducted a thorough investigation into the incidentcharged 23-year-old Malik Kiante Nix of Waterloo was charged with:
• Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon – C Felony
• Disorderly Conduct – Simple Misdemeanor
