AMES – Multiple gunshots claimed the life of an Ames man Monday morning, and cops are searching for the shooter.
At 4:39 AM, the Ames Police Department received calls from multiple individuals stating they heard gunshots east of Wheeler Street. A few minutes later, officers located a male with multiple gunshot wounds located outside of 3021 Regency Court. The man was deceased.
The victim is identified as Scott T. Lograsso, 38, of Ames. Ames Police are requesting the public’s assistance with any home or business video from the neighborhoods identified in the map. Officers are looking for any persons or vehicles that were out and in this area between the hours of 3:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. on May 9th.
