PALO ALTO COUNTY – A Northern Iowa sex offender was nabbed after several registry violations, police say.
On April 12, 2022, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Michael Andrew Henderson of Emmetsburg on a valid Palo Alto County arrest warrant for 4 sex offender registration violations. Henderson, who is currently in jail awaiting trial on separate charges, was served the arrest warrant and remained in jail.
Henderson was unable to post the $7500.00 cash only bond on the warrant.
Henderson was convicted in 2011 of lascivious acts with a child; his victim was a female child age 13 or younger. He was also convicted in 2013 of disseminating obscene material to a female child age 13 or younger.
