ORLANDO – Iowa State played perennial power Clemson tough in the 2021 Cheez-It Bowl, but couldn’t get past the Tigers, losing 20-13.
A fourth-quarter touchdown by tight end Charlie Kolar on a short pass from QB Brock Purdy gave Cyclone fans hope, but Clemson received the ball and ran the clock out.
