Janice F. Grems was born on December 12, 1937 to George and Alvina (Campbell) Grems in Estherville, Iowa. She passed away at Aspire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Estherville on November 16, 2021 at age 83.
Janice was a member of the Gruver High School graduating class of 1957, she then attended Estherville Junior College. Janice was employed at Golden Sun Feeds for 29 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Gruver Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the women’s group and evening circle. She enjoyed her time on the Gruver Planning and Zoning Committee as well as the Gruver Park Committee.
Janice enjoyed craft work, reading, walking, gardening, and yard work. She had a large collection of Coca – Cola memorabilia and snowmen.
Janice is survived by her son Brett Grems of Gruver; her siblings Barbara (Don) Fisher of Estherville, Wayne (Beverly) Grems of Waukee, Dennis (Eileen) Grems of Gruver, and Deloris (Bob) Duncomb of Sun City, AZ; and sister-in-law Marcia Grems of Milford.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Frank Grems.
