Thomas Arthur Lauritsen, the son of Arthur and Ruth (McManness) Lauritsen, was born on June 12, 1953 in Estherville, Iowa. He died on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his home in Estherville.
Tom graduated from Estherville High School in 1972 before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. After being honorably discharged, he married Darlene Koons, to this union, two children were born, Matthew and Jennifer.
Tom worked as a truck driver for Glasstite Industries and Dahl Trucking for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and watching the discovery channel.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Lauritsen; his children, Jennifer (Jesse James) (Lauritsen) Paulson and Matthew (Nicole) Lauritsen; three grandchildren, Brooklynn, Noah and Brody; his siblings, Sandy Binkley, Arizona, Glenna Kaltved, Georgia, and Don Lauritsen, Mason City.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ruth (McManness) Lauritsen, his twin brother, Tim Lauritsen, and a sister in infancy, Ellen Marie Lauritsen.
