NORTHWOOD – The Worth county sheriff is warning citizens of attempted break-ins and to report suspicious activity.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office says that on October 8, 2018, they received a call from Ver Helst Drug in regards to the pop machines located at their store had been vandalized and broken into. Upon arrival it was found that the one machine had been completely broken into and the money had been removed while the other machine showed signs of an attempt to remove the lock but were not successful. Later on the same day, the sheriff’s office received a call from Fallgatters Market with the same complaint of someone attempting to remove the locks on the machines.

These incidents are still under investigation and the Worth County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information into these attempted break ins call and report it.

Black trash from the big cities ruining Midwest living. We need to start a chapter of the KKK send them back to where they belong.

So much for boots on the ground and 24/7 worth county deputies patrolling Northwood .oh wait you have to be patrolling and not hanging out in the office drinking coffee and eating cookies all night. Btw isn’t there camera surveillance being this happened, RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET, from the sheriff’s office. Way to go Northwood..

Northwood refurbish those apartments across from the high school and when they are really nice do not allow section 8. That will improve thing’s. Without the Detroit and Chicago douchebags in town you will be so much better off. Like nobody will get stabbed. Then bulldoze that trailer park by the high school and get rid of a lot of your meth head population. If worth county plays their cards right they will be one of the best places to live and work as well as raise a family within the next ten years in North iowa. Cerro Gordo is going down the tubes like soft shit. Poor schools bad neighbors higher and higher rent worse and worse crime lots and lots of low paying jobs to help support the extremely high rent and overpriced store’s. clean your act up worth county and you’re primed to fill up with quality people their values their drive and their contributions. Don’t make the mistake Cerro Gordo did, end section 8 or at least block it. Start rousing up the trouble it’s a small town can’t be hard to track down the bad element and get them dealt with. It’s now or never once you let the cancer grow to much it won’t be obtainable and that quaint little town perfectly setup with the right kinda of businesses and entertainment as well as eating will be nothing more than just another north Iowa dumpster town.

nailed it

yup right across the street
