MONTEZUMA, IOWA – National media is reporting that a missing Iowa college woman has been found deceased in a rural area of the state.
Earlier today, a body was located by law enforcement authorities in rural Poweshiek County. Investigators are working to confirm the identity and will have more information available at the 4:00 PM press conference.
There will be no further information released from law enforcement until the press conference.
However, numerous news sources say that that deceased person’s body is that of 20-year-old missing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts, who vanished while jogging in Brooklyn, Iowa back on July 18.
