RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A man was hurt in rural Cerro Gordo county Saturday evening after a tractor rolled on top of him.
The incident took place Saturday, August 18 at about 4 PM, near 3456 Balsam Avenue in rural Cerro Gordo county. Cerro Gordo county deputies were dispatched to that location for a medical call reporting a tractor rollover with a male subject trapped underneath with possible injuries. The driver of the tractor was identified as Scott Sprau, age 61, of Meservey, IA. The tractor rolled over into a ditch landing on top of the Sprau. Sprau was extracted by medical and firefighters on scene and was transported to Mercy ER by Mercy Air Med.
Unknown of the extent of injuries.
