CHARLES CITY – A man once-convicted of domestic abuse was arrested again this week in Charles City for assault, this time with strangulation allegedly involved.
Om May 23, 2018 at about 6:08 AM, officers with the Charles City police department were called to the 1200 block of Waller Street for a report of an assault. As a result of an investigation, officers arrested 33-year-old Tyree Cranshaw of Charles City on a charge of domestic abuse assault involving strangulation.
Cranshaw was jailed and soon released, pending a court date in June.
Records show Cranshaw was guilty of domestic abuse back in 2005. He was fined and jailed for that offense.
