MASON CITY – A Marble rock man was jailed after he was caught drunk driving in Mason City early Saturday morning.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on Saturday morning, March 3 at about 1:52 AM near Lark Avenue and Highway 122. After an investigation, the driver, 32-year-old Cory Gene Ott of Marble Rock, Iowa was arrested for operating while under the influence.
Ott was taken to jail and soon released, pending a March 9 court date.
Currently, records show Ott is facing a charge of operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent in Cerro Gordo county, brought by Mason City police. He’ll be in court March 5 for a plea hearing.
