MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested after he allegedly threatened a woman with a gun.
Monday night, January 15 at 5:58 PM, Mason City Police were dispatched to 1600 10th Street SE, apt 7D, on a report of a male threatening a female with a handgun inside the apartment. Mason City Police arrived and contacted the subjects at the apartment. The resident, 27-year old Brandon Lee Hadacek, was
arrested by police at the scene.
Mason City Fire Medics were also at the scene and assisted. The female subject appears to have no serious injuries.
Police applied for a search warrant, which was later granted. Police searched the apartment for evidence.
Brandon Hadacek was charged with the following crimes:
Possession of Firearm by a Felon (Class D Felony)
Going Armed with Intent (Class D Felony)
False Imprisonment (Serious Misdemeanor)
Possession of Marijuana (Serious Misdemeanor)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Brandon Hadacek was then transported to the Cerro-Gordo County Jail*
