MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was sought and located by police after allegedly stealing from a vehicle at Walmart.

The incident took place Saturday, January 13. At about 2:09 AM, Mason City police received a report of a theft from a vehicle located at Walmart, 4151 4th street SW. After an investigation, a suspect was located. Police located 28-year-old Jacqueline Finck of Mason City. She was arrested and charged with third-degree attempted burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Finck was arrested back in 2015 after a fight at a Mason City convenience store.  She was sent to jail for two days for a domestic assault as a result.  She was also caught stealing that year in Mason City and was later guilty of fifth-degree theft. She was ordered to pay $717.75 in fines and court fees, but records show she has yet to make a payment.
