Illicit drugs found in Mason City traffic stop leads to arrest of three

MASON CITY – Three people – two from out of town – were taken to jail after illicit drugs were found in a recent Mason City traffic stop.

A Mason City police officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at 3:13 AM on Friday, November 10. After an investigation, three people were arrested.

Joshua Dean Lee, age 36 of Albert Lea, was arrested on a warrant, police tell NIT. Jennifer Lee Fredrickson, age 31 of Mason City; and Todd Allen Lee Dann, age 25 of Britt, were both arrested as a result of marijuana and methamphetamine that were found in the vehicle.  Fredrick son is facing felony charges of bringing contraband into the jail, possession of a counterfeit substance and an aggravated misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance.  She remains jailed; the other two suspects have been released.
