SPENCER, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man faces over a dozen sex crimes involving a child and is behind bars waiting to see a judge.
On October 31, 2017, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Lawrence Jacob Bauer of Spencer, Iowa on outstanding warrants at his residence. Bauer is currently being held at the Lyon County Jail on a bond of $100,000 cash only for nine counts of Sexual Abuse in the 3rd degree (C Felony), one count of Enticing a Minor (C Felony), and three counts of Indecent Contact with a Child (Aggravated Misdemeanor). Reportedly, there is one victim only in this case.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Spencer Police Department.
