Teens jailed after illegal drugs discovered during traffic stop

MASON CITY – Three teens were charged with crimes and at least one taken to jail after illegal drugs were discovered during a Halloween traffic stop in Mason City’s North End.

Law enforcement stopped at vehicle on October 31 at about 3:41 PM near Federal Avenue and 7th Street NW.  Three teens were found to be in the vehicle; two 17-year-old minors and a 19-year-old man, Clint Clark Hagen of Lake Mills.  After an investigation, Hagen was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and arrested.  The other two individuals (minors) were charged or arrested, but no details were available about their cases.

Hagen was taken to the county jail he posted a bond and was released, pending a November 15 court hearing.  Just the previous day, Hagen was guilty of speeding 21 mph or more in 55 zone in Cerro GOrdo county and ordered to pay $274.25.
