CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was sent to jail for his second drunk driving offense.
Dirk Joseph Vosburgh, age 24, was charged by the Cerro Gordo county sheriff’s office with second offense operating while intoxicated after an April 21, 2017 incident. He later pled guilty and was sentenced to 7 days in jail, had his license revoked and was ordered to pay $2,641.25 in fines and court fees.
Back on November 1, 2014 at about 2 AM, Vosburgh was stopped by a Mason City police officer at the 600 block of 19th Street SW for an equipment violation. After an investigation, the officer determined that Vosburgh was intoxicated and he was arrested for first offense operating while intoxicated.
