FOREST CITY – A young Forest City man is in jail after police in Forest City charged him with a slew of felonies.
On May 23, 2017 at 3:14 PM, Jordan Lee Meier, age 18 of Forest City was arrested and charged with felony second-degree theft and 16 counts of felony third-degree burglary. Police say the arrest was made following an investigation into the theft of a pickup from a residence on South 4th Street. Meier also faces felony drug crimes and will face a July 12 jury trial.
Meier remains in the Winnebago county jail. He awaits a June 16 arraignment.
