MASON CITY – Today is the day.
All the hot air, promises, appearances, town halls, interviews, commercials, mailers and effort from the candidates culminate tonight in Iowa when citizens head to their caucus locations and choose their candidate to be the next President of the United States.
Will you vote and uphold your duty as a citizen? You do realize, thousands of people died so you could have this right, don’t you? Pick a side, pick a candidate, and head to the caucus tonight. It is an educational experience. It doesn’t come along that often. When you fail to vote, you erode our Democracy and belittle the efforts of those who sacrificed for this country. You play into the hands of those who would poison our Republic for their own ends. Do your duty and vote today – and always.

Trump and Carson got their first lesson in dirty politics. Iowa is so lame!
On the bright side, I talked to two Republican caucus attendee’s from a caucus in Clear Lake and Osage and both said they witnessed people who left and drove a way because they could not get in the building because of overcrowding and no parking.
It appears to me that the record turnout for Republicans would have been even larger then what has been reported as a record turnout.
This don’t bode well in the General Election for Dem’s.
Yea!!!!
Incident at library resolved – Bernie was the bicyclist and Hillary was just explaining to him how to carve a Turkey — Case closed !
Republican caucus I attended last nite – Vote tally was 2 to 1 for trump over the Canadian. I presume microsoft handled the final tally.
I saw a posting this morning that said over 250,000 people showed up at caucus for trump yet he only got less than 50,000 votes. I am not saying anything.
Notice to Trump – next time show up for your scheduled debate and don’t back down from Fox News. Fox was the big winner.
LOL Trump is a loser.
So what. Hellary and the communist are “NOT” winners.
he came in 2nd place in a state where he was never expected to win at all, and he is a loser?
“(Trump) never expected to win at all” -David
You must have pulled that one out of your nether regions David.
Just one week ago…….

they said it on newsmax this morning that trump was advised to not even go to iowa because he didn’t stand a chance there.
Yes, he lost in Iowa. He didn’t win, he’s a loser. Not a hard concept to grasp.
and you would know what a loser is
and you would know what a quitter is.
are your initials MF?
They may well be “MF”.
Whereas quitters like you have the initials “CS”.
if your initials are MF then I think I know who you are and where your anger for me comes from. If it is you mike then the slot was never ever yours, it was always mine. Get over it.
Technically Trump won since Ted Cruz is a Canadian and cannot legally run for President. If Cruz wins any more Trump will launch a lawsuit. I get tired of people picking and choosing which rules they will enforce. Ted Cruz was born in Canada and his mother is American. That doesn’t change the fact that he was not born on US soil as the Constitution requires.
It requires he be a natural citizen not born on US soil.

The Rube…..Please show me in the Constitution exactly where it states a person MUST be born on US soil to be president. I’d like chapter and verse if you will.
Now that you are a spokesperson for Trump, I’m sure he will do better in the up-coming primaries.
That’s the problem, they haven’t read it, they are just going by word of mouth. http://www.usconstitution.net/consttop_citi.html
At the time ‘Natural Citizen’ meant born on US soil. The original intent at the time of writing must be taken into consideration…not today’s jet-set highly technical global definitions.
At that time there was very few men of age that was born in the U.S.,
PLEASE NOTE:
Lincoln Intermediate School is not the location for all!!!! Harding Elementary is also a location, and depending on your county and precinct it may not even be in Mason City! PLEASE VISIT http://www.iowademocrats.org for your official polling place!!!
